A one-off hand painted vase (the taller of the two in the first image) with a rounded base and funnel opening. This vase has been glazed with a colourful abstract pattern inspired by the works of Matisse, particularly La Japonaise and Collioure. The clay body is a mid-fired oatmeal slip, tinted with oxides and locally foraged sand.
